If you plan to arrive early or stay later than the core trip dates, transportation will be your responsibility. However, our transportation partner will honor the group rate for your convenience. Please contact Suriam.Cordova@tropicalincentives.com to make your reservation. When reaching out, kindly mention that you are with the Thryv group in your email.

Resort casual and casual attire is appropriate for all events and venues/restaurants at the Resort.

Check your activity confirmations for suggestions/requirements for your specific excursion. 

Sunday Meeting - casual wear i.e., shorts, sundresses are acceptable however swimwear is not.

Cancun is on Central Time. 

Consult with your carrier for travel plans should one be required. 

American dollars and most major credit cards are widely accepted. Change from dollars is returned in MXN pesos.

Gratuities at the Resort are included, however if you feel you've received extraordinary service it is acceptable to show your appreciation with additional tipping.

As you prepare for your trip to Cancun within Quintana Roo, please be aware that the state requires foreign visitors aged 15 and older to pay the official VISITAX. VISITAX is not a scam—it’s an official tax implemented by the Quintana Roo state government. That said, there's been ongoing confusion due to inconsistent enforcement and the appearance of unofficial websites charging inflated fees or collecting personal data. If you choose to pay the VISITAX, it’s important to do so safely to avoid scams.  

Here's how:

• Only pay through the official VISITAX website: https://www.visitax.gob.mx
• Pay with a secure credit card and always look for https://at the start of the URL.
• The tax is $271 MXN per person (approximately $13–$14 USD).
• Take a screenshot or download your QR code receipt after payment.
